Equine Info is an independent, editorial reference about horses — a stud book of practical knowledge for owners, riders, learners and the horse-minded.
The site is built on four pillars: Breeds, Care & Health, Riding & Disciplines and Tack & Gear. Every entry is written to be read twice: once by someone meeting the subject for the first time, and once by someone who has mucked out a thousand mornings and wants the detail.
Not a marketplace, not a clinic, not an advert. Nothing here is for sale, nothing is sponsored copy, and no entry exists to steer you toward a product. Content is general guidance for owners and riders — it is not veterinary advice, and where a question belongs to a vet, a farrier or a qualified saddle fitter, the entry says so.
Every photograph on this site is a real photograph of a real horse — real breeds, real riders in real disciplines, real yards and real weather, treated in the site’s documentary-archival style. Nothing is fabricated.
Equine Info is reader-supported. The organisations entered in the register and pinned to the tack-room noticeboard keep the site independent; they are always clearly marked, and they never shape what the field notes say.
The field notes keep no dates. Entries are maintained, not published and forgotten — what you read reflects the current state of the record.
